Posh Hammer is a teenage synth-pop trio comprised of twin sisters Tasnim and Tiam and their older brother Navied. The Asheville-based siblings spent their High School years homeschooled to focus on music. They filled this extra time writing, recording, and touring the region. The band released their retro-tinged debut EP ‘A Revolt Into Style’ in 2016.
As Posh Hammer continues to make new music, their focus is now clearly set. Taking inspiration from mainstream pop, the band’s sound is based on re-interpreting the genre and providing context to give these stylistic trends new meaning. Posh Hammer is currently working at Echo Mountain Recording Studios on a visual EP, which they’re writing, producing, and directing themselves. They’ve described the project as, “Taylor Swift scores a Michelangelo Antonioni film about life in the digital age”.
